- Can students meet Gilmore Festival artists?
- Yes, master classes during the Gilmore Festival put students in direct contact with featured artists. Artists frequently are a part of our general education classes. There are also opportunities to meet artists after some concerts.
- Does The Gilmore endorse a certain type of piano? If so, which one?
- The Gilmore uses a variety of pianos in its education programs. For performances, we work with artists to meet their needs. The Gilmore owns a 6-foot Baldwin and a 9-foot Steinway, which were selected specially for The Gilmore and its performers.
- What ages are served by your education programs?
- Keys Club, Piano Labs, Piano Pizzazz and Camp Gilmore are geared toward students in grades 1-12 and their families. Festival educational programs include Elderhostel for seniors and Youth Concerts for school-age students.
